November will see the release of three limited edition G-Shock and Baby-G box sets for the Lover’s Collection 20th Anniversary. The Lover’s Collection began in 1996 two years after the launch of the Casio Baby-G line and includes a pair of matching or complementary “his & hers” G-Shock and Baby-G watches often presented in a heart-shaped box. The 2016 sets feature a devil and angel theme and come in special “G Presents Lover’s Collection 20th Anniversary” boxes. The Lover’s Collection is not widely released in the U.S., but a few sets will likely be available at the G-Shock Soho Store in New York.
G PRESENTS LOVER’S COLLECTION LOV-16A-7AJR
The LOV-16A-7AJR set features the G-Shock GA-110LD-7A and Baby-G BA-110LD-7A. These white large case watches have navy blue lettering and a gold-accented face. The watches have custom devil and angel engraved case backs along with “G-SHOCK Baby-G 2016.” List price is ¥33,000 JPY. Casio also announced the LOV-16A-7A for release in Asia.
